Monaco has had an exceptional season last year, as they won Ligue 1 ahead of rivals PSG and reached the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League. They had a pretty solid start to this season, with 12 goals in the bag from Ligue 1 top goalscorer Radamel Falcao and 22 goals overall as a team. However, Monaco has sold all their stars, and they are at risk of losing more. They’ve lost Golden boy winner Kylian Mbappe, Benjamin Mendy and Bernardo Silva to Man City and Bakayako to Chelsea. Both Leonardo Jardim (current manager of Les Monégasques) and Manchester City have almost reached an agreement for young Brazilian Fabinho. As more and more players leave the Stade Louis II, Jardim is worried about Monaco’s future. What they need is a loyal performing young un to help Falcao, and hopefully, form a partnership with the Columbian.

As the desperate manager was searching for players, he found interest in the Bundesliga. Peter Bosz, the current Borussia Dortmund manager, decided that Christian Pulisic wasn’t talented enough to play with the yellows, as they already had the likes of Marco Reus and Nuri Şahin. Even with BVB at the risk of losing lightning fast striker Pierre Emerick Aubameyang, he is deciding to let the youngster go. As he has been exceptional with the U.S. national team, the Borrusia Dortmund board made it clear Pulisic won't be leaving with a small price tag. So right now Christian Pulisic is Leonardo Jardim’s main target to sign, this December. He is convinced that he can make Pulisic on of the best talents in the world, as Monaco have already done so with the likes of Anthony Martial, Kylian Mbappe, Bernardo Silva and more. His reported fee is in the range of €70 million as he is only 19 years old with great potential.
