Atletico Madrid had a shaky start in La Liga 17-18 season. Diego Simeone, current manager of Atletico Madrid, has just announced in a press conference that he wants better attackers to play ahead with Antoine Griezmann, who may also depart to united next summer. He said he plans to match trios like MSD and BBC. So he decided to put his head into the transfer window and look for opportunities. When he found Diego Costa available, he took action. So for £57,000,000, The Spanish striker was brought back home. Now Simeone just needed to complete one last step. Coincidentally, English striker Jamie Vardy has just announced his releasement from Leicester City. After their poor standing in the EPL last year, Craig Shakespeare finally admitted that he didn’t think of Leicester City as a future for the Englishman, so he was ready to sell Jamie Vardy, for a hefty amount of £38,500,000, and Simeone willingly agreed. Vardy will arrive on Monday to play the fixture against Barcelona and will earn €100,000 a week.
