Despite a successful season for the Old Lady, Bosnian midfielder Miralem Pjanic feels he is “undervalued” and “insignificant” for his club. The Old Lady came close to a treble, winning the Serie A, Coppa Italia and coming runner-ups for the UEFA Champions league. With former Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi signing for the Zebre’s, Pjanic getting the full 90 would seem impossible and even game time would be unlikely with Juventus getting ex-Bayern midfielder Douglas Costa on loan.
Every football fan knows how much Bayern love getting midfielders, and with Renato Sanches joining Swansea on loan and James Rodríguez, Arjen Robben, Franck Ribéry and Thiago commonly injured, Pjanic might have just found himself a place. Juve manager Massimiliano Allegri clearly stated he “doesn’t want a player with such an attitude” and Bayern manager Carlo Ancelotti said he was “definitely interested”. Well, yesterday Pjanic was spotted outside the Allianz Arena in Munich, Germany, with his agent before @FCBayernUS leaked the image above, claiming he had signed for € 42.8 including add-ons. This was later CONFIRMED today by Bayern and Juventus, with Bayern also mentioning the Bosnian international will earn €200,000 per week, with bonuses going up to €240,000 per week if Bayern win the Champions League and Bundesliga.
