Situation: With the recent departure of Neymar and Barca signing the likes of Paulinho, it became clear the Catalonian side needed a star player regardless of the price tag. Ernesto Valverde(FC Barcelona manager) is fond of a fast, attacking play, and Dybala fits the role. Aside from the Argentinean link with Leo Messi, Ernesto Valverde claims Dybala is flexible with positions, being able to play winger, attacking midfielder and striker. With Iniesta and Busquets close to announcing their retirement and Barcelona close to sealing defensive-midfielder Jean Seri, Barcelona need a quality attacking midfielder that is capable of playing upfront incase a forward is injured.

This rumour became reality when Juve manager, Massimiliano Allegri revealed there had indeed been an accepted bid and that he was “interested” in Mauro Icardi to replace Dybala. With record signing Ousmane Dembele recently getting injured at the away game in Getafe and taking 4 months to heal, Barcelona need a replacement. Paulo Dybala is set to leave the Old Lady to join The Blaugrana for a monstrous € 120 million with €20 million in add ons, earning a mind boggling €300 thousand a week.
